April 2025: Tariff Surchages

Due to U.S. governement regulations, all orders and quote requests across the Busch Group may be subject to a tariff surcharge. These surcharges are not shown at checkout but will be reviewed and communicated by our sales team based on the product's country of origin. Updated and final totals will reflect current tariff rates upon processing.

What is a tariff surcharge and why is it being applied to my order?

A tariff surcharge is an additional fee applied to certain products due to government-imposed import tariffs.

How is the tariff surcharge calculated?

The surcharge is calculated based on the current tariff rates set by regulatory authorities and the type of product being ordered. Which products are affected by the tariff surcharge?

Only products imported from tariff-affected regions are subject to surcharges. Items manufactured domestically or sourced from non-tariff regions are excluded. Because each order is unique, possible surcharges are determined on a case-by-case basis. For specific questions about your order or quote, please contact your sales representative.

Is the surcharge included in the price shown online?

Tariff surcharges are not included in product prices shown on our website and will not appear at checkout. Due to the frequent changes in tariff schedules, these surcharges are added after checkout during order processing. Once your web request is submitted, a sales representative or member of our customer support team will contact you with an updated total before processing payment.

Can I see the surcharge before placing my order?

Due to the frequent and unpredictable changes in tariff schedules, we do not use an automated calculator at checkout. If I place a backorder now, will the surcharge change later?

Tariff surcharges are applied based on the rates in effect at the time your order is placed. If there are any changes to those rates before your backordered items ship, we will notify you of any adjustments.

Are surcharges different for bulk or wholesale orders/quotes?

The tariff surcharge rate is based on the government tariff policy at the time of product shipment, not at the time of quote. While the quote can only reference to the tariff rate known at the time of the quote. If the tariff rate changes in the future, the customers will be informed.

Will my quote remain valid if tariff rates change?
