Particulate Filter Traps
Particulate traps remove particles that might otherwise enter the mechanical pump and contaminate the oil or overall process. Standard traps by Pfeiffer Vacuum Valves & Engineering have 10-micron rated filters installed with lower micron ratings available. Filters can be cleaned and reused depending on the process. The most common filter types are made from polyester. Fiberglass filter traps are also available. The two-piece body design allows for easy cleaning and replacement of the filter.
