EVAC Seals, Clamps & Bolt Kits
EVAC-manufactured CeFix aluminum seal rings and chain clamps are the proper choice to achieve UHV and XHV grade seals with EVAC tapered flanges.
The aluminum seal rings locate on the centering ring groove (inner centering) or outside edge of the flange (outer centering), depending on the size. (Inner and outer centering versions are available for all NW flange sizes.)
High-integrity UHV metal seals can also be achieved using standard ISO-KF (NW) flanges, in which case the Teflon-coated chain clamps should be used. The less costly uncoated version chain clamp is sufficient when the system contains the genuine EVAC tapered flange.
