In-House Chem Cleaning and Surface Treatment
Enhance System Performance with Our Chem Cleaning and Surface Treatment Solutions
At Pfeiffer Vacuum Valves & Engineering, we prioritize the quality and cleanliness of every component. Our stainless steel parts undergo meticulous cleaning processes to ensure optimal performance. Here's what our cleaning process entails:- Passivation: Stainless steel parts are treated in a light acid solution to eliminate weld scale and oxide buildup.
- Detergent Wash: We use biodegradable detergents to remove machine lubricants, followed by thorough washing and rinsing with deionized water.
- Customized Cleaning: We understand that different projects have unique requirements. That's why we offer tailored cleaning recipes to meet our customers' specifications.
Surface Treatment Solutions For Stainless Steel Vacuum Components
In addition to cleaning, we offer a range of surface treatment options to enhance the durability and performance of vacuum components:- Tumbling: Our tumbling process, using ceramic media, effectively deburrs components while ensuring a uniform finish.
- Bead Blasting: Glass shot bead blasting is employed to clean, hone, polish, and peen surfaces, removing any remaining scale.
- Electropolishing: This advanced electrochemical process is the pinnacle of surface treatment for stainless steel vacuum components. Electropolishing not only removes surface imperfections and burrs but also passivates and relieves stress in the material. It results in a smoother surface finish, with a significant reduction in friction and surface area.
At Pfeiffer Vacuum Valves & Engineering, our commitment to excellence extends to every aspect of our processes, guaranteeing superior quality and performance for our customers.
