Nor-Cal Products, Inc Acquired by Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology

On June 22, 2017, Nor-Cal Products entered an exciting new chapter in its long history of service to industry and research from its Yreka home in Siskiyou County. The then-55-year-old Nor-Cal Products successfully merged with Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG. By adding Nor-Cal Products’ 335 worldwide employees to the Pfeiffer Vacuum team, Nor-Cal Products employees joined a team of over 2,500 strong worldwide, with over 200 employed at the Yreka corporate headquarters and manufacturing facilities. Nor-Cal Products’ components and services remain in high demand worldwide, thanks to emerging technologies and a strong market. Both companies agreed that strength could be found in numbers, both physically and financially.
Thomas Deany, CEO of Nor-Cal Products, stated with assurance, “This merger significantly strengthens the position of Nor-Cal Products in the increasingly attractive and competitive global vacuum component marketplace.
