Bell Jar Seal for 12in Vacuum Chambers

The 1200‑OR is a precision bell jar seal (FKM O-ring) designed for Nor-Cal’s BJ‑1200‑EP 12″ vacuum bell jar. It features a 12.55″ inner diameter and 0.277″ thickness, engineered to fit securely within the dovetail groove of the bell jar base flange. Made from durable FKM (Viton®), this seal supports vacuum pressures down to ~1×10⁻⁸ mbar and operating temperatures from −20 °C to 200 °C. Ideal for high-vacuum research, degassing, and lab environments where reliable sealing is critical.
