Tom Deany President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Deany has over 34 years experience in the vacuum industry, beginning with the manufacturing of ultra-high vacuum systems at Varian Associates. He served in various executive positions at MDC Vacuum Products, Hayward, California, and Leybold Vacuum, Export, Pennsylvania, before coming to Nor-Cal Products in 1987 as Director of Marketing and Sales. He was promoted to Vice President and General Manager in 1992, responsible for marketing, sales, operations and finance. In 2004, Mr. Deany was promoted to President and in 2010 he advanced to the Chief Executive Officer position. |

David Stone Chief Financial Officer
David Stone joined Nor-Cal in October 2006 with over 25 years experience in executive management positions in manufacturing companies as President, Vice President and CFO. Since joining Nor-Cal, Mr. Stone has been instrumental in improving the company’s financial and operational productivity and has played the lead role in the formation of Nor-Cal’s three wholly-owned international subsidiaries. Mr. Stone graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science in Business/Finance.

Tim Nilsson Vice President of Marketing
After handling Nor-Cal Product’s marketing through his advertising agency for three years, Mr. Nilsson joined the company in 1988 as Advertising Manager and Sales Engineer, before being promoted to Director of Marketing and Sales and then VP of Marketing. He co-developed the Genesis™ modular valve system and introduced four other product lines. He participated in the development of an international program to collect and report sales of vacuum equipment through AVEM, JVIA and EVTA. He has been a member of the AVS Technical Standards Committee, Vice President and board member of AVEM and has twice been awarded the Ad-Q Award for Advertising Excellence. After a four year sabbatical, Mr. Nilsson returned to Nor-Cal in February of 2011.

Mitchell Taylor Vice President of Engineering
After earning a degree in chemistry from Willamette University, Mr. Taylor worked as an analytical chemist for Teledyne Corporation before beginning a twenty year career with Intel Corporation as Ion Implant Group Leader Portland Technology Development. During that time he was responsible for the start-up of four Intel fabs. Mr. Taylor also held positions at Applied Materials. He was Vice President and General Manager of their implant division in England, Vice President of Emerging Technologies Santa Clara and Senior Director Applied Materials Solar Factory Projects, overseeing the construction and start-up of a solar factory in Europe. Mr. Taylor is the holder of twenty patents and has won numerous awards, including three Intel Achievement Awards, the highest award given by Intel for technical contributions.

Sean Mallory Vice President of Business Development
A 27 year veteran of the aerospace and semiconductor industries, Mr. Mallory has led market focused development, management and global promotion of advanced technology and control systems for fortune 500 companies and is the holder of multiple controls patents. Mallory founded the company’s research and development division in 1997 and was appointed Vice-President of Business Development in 2002. Mallory is responsible for top-line growth through world-wide sales, applications and customer service. Mr. Mallory earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University and attended the Executive MBA at the University of Houston.
